1.Who can claim a code

Players aged 18 and over claim a code by completing the Instagram step in clause 3.

Players under 18 earn the same discount without any social media step. A parent or guardian's email address is submitted on the claim screen, and the code is sent there. Junior codes apply to entries in a junior or youth age category and are confirmed against the entrant's age category at registration.

Age is self-declared at the point of claim. Codes claimed under a false age declaration may be voided.

A public Instagram account is required for the 18+ route — tags from private accounts cannot be verified.

2.Earning a code

Play Holiday Catch and reach a reward tier. Collecting all three dance cans — the game calls them WTF cans — earns 10% off; clearing the round earns 5% off. Adults submit name, email address and Instagram handle on the claim screen. Under-18s submit the player's first name, a guardian's name, and the guardian's email address.

3.Unlocking your code — players 18 and over

Share your Holiday Catch card to Instagram — a Story, a feed post or a Reel all count — and tag @citys_dancesport. On a Story, use the @ mention sticker or type the handle out; a Story with the card but no tag can't be seen by us, and won't release a code. The account you post from must match the handle submitted on the claim screen.

Because a discount is being given in exchange for the post, your post must make that relationship clear. The caption suggested by the game does this already — keep it, or say it in your own words.

Your post must stay up for 24 hours for the code to remain valid. Stories meet this on their own; a feed post or Reel deleted inside a day does not.

4.Verification

Tags are checked automatically against claims on file. A tag that cannot be matched to a submitted handle will not release a code — most often because the handle was mistyped, or the post came from a different account. Contact info@citysdancesport.com and the claim can be checked manually.

5.Delivery

Codes are emailed once the tag is verified — allow up to 24 hours. Junior codes are emailed to the guardian after the claim is submitted, also within 24 hours. Check spam and promotions folders before getting in touch.

Story tags occasionally don't reach us. If 48 hours have passed and nothing has arrived, email info@citysdancesport.com with your Instagram handle and it will be sorted manually.

6.The code

One code per person. Single use, non-transferable, and holds no cash value. City's records determine the discount tier, and those records are final. Codes are personal — a code shared publicly may be voided.

7.What it applies to

Valid on single-dance entries only at City's Dancesport Challenge 2026 on December 19. Not combinable with early-bird pricing, package pricing, or any other discount or offer.

8.Expiry

Valid until registration closes for City's Dancesport Challenge 2026. Codes do not carry forward to future years.

9.Redemption

Present your code to the registrar at the time of entry. The registrar applies the discount and records the code as redeemed. A code recorded as redeemed cannot be used again. Junior codes are checked against the entrant's age category at this point.

10.Fair play

Scores are submitted to City's and recorded against your claim, and the leaderboard shows the best score for each player. City's may void any code earned through score manipulation, duplicate accounts, false Instagram handles, false age declarations, or any attempt to claim more than one code per person.

11.Your post

By tagging @citys_dancesport, you give City's Dancesport Challenge permission to reshare your post and your Holiday Catch card on City's social channels and website, with credit to your Instagram handle. You keep all rights to your own content, and you can withdraw this permission at any time by contacting us.

City's reviews every post before resharing anything, and does not reshare posts from accounts that appear to belong to anyone under 18.

12.Your information

Adult players: your email address and Instagram handle are stored to verify your tag, issue your code, and administer redemption at the event. Your email is never shown publicly and never sold. Marketing emails are only sent if you opted in on the claim screen, and you can unsubscribe at any time. Your name appears on the public leaderboard only if you gave permission for it.

Under-18 players: only the player's first name and the guardian's name and email address are stored. No Instagram handle is collected. A junior player's name is not shown on the public leaderboard unless a guardian opts in, in which case it appears as a first name and last initial only.

How long it is kept: claim records — name, email address, Instagram handle, guardian details and code status — are held until registration for City's Dancesport Challenge 2026 closes and the event's entries are settled, and are deleted no later than 90 days after the event. Marketing subscriptions are separate: if you opted in, your address stays on the City's list until you unsubscribe.

To have your information removed sooner, email info@citysdancesport.com from the address on the claim, or from the guardian's address for a junior claim. Removal cancels any code that has not yet been redeemed, since the code cannot be honoured at the counter without the record behind it.

13.Changes

City's may modify or end this promotion at any time. Codes already issued will be honoured under the terms in force when they were issued.

14.Instagram and Meta

This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. By participating, you release Instagram and Meta from any responsibility connected with this promotion. Any questions go to City's Dancesport Challenge, not to Instagram.

15.Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
